Mentalix delivers the Pixel!FX
Deluxe family of integrated imaging products
-- including preferred solutions for image
scanning, annotation, editing, storage, retrieval
and processing on Silicon Graphics IRIX
5.3/6.2/6.3+. The current release, Pixel!FX
Deluxe Version 5.1, builds on previous
versions with additional functionality, such as
an updated Pixel!SCAN for PhotoShop
plug-in and barcode recognition in the Pixel!OCR
application.
Pixel!FX Deluxe
interfaces with a wide range of scanners and
offers the ability to read and write virtually
any image file format desired anywhere in your
network. From black-and-white and grayscale
to 8-bit, 24-bit or 48-bit color images, and even
up to 16-bit grayscale and 32/64 bit CMYK, Pixel!FX
Deluxe provides a full complement of tools to
give you the power and flexibility of UNIX-based
imaging within your Silicon Graphics IRIX
workstation and network environment.
With Pixel!FX
Deluxe, users have access to state-of-the-art
imaging and scanning functionality. This
product suite offers a flexible solution for a
broad range of users and application needs, from
image acquisition to editing and storage.
Also available are our PhotoShop Plug-Ins, which
provide integrated scanning capabilities to Adobe
PhotoShop users, and our Impressario Scan Driver,
an interface for the Silicon Graphics IRIS
Impressario product and select scanner
models. The solutions available in Mentalix
products also serve as enabling technology by
rounding out the capabilities of niche products
such as PhotoShop, FrameMaker, Interleaf,
GIS/remote sensing, and custom imaging solutions.
A recent addition
to the Pixel! product family, Pixel!CAM
for Kodak DCS, brings Mentalix's award-winning,
UNIX-based image acquisition software to digital
camera users. Pixel!CAM for Kodak
DCS is the first product in a planned series of
digital camera applications for UNIX. Currently
offering support for several Professional DCS
cameras, this application allows you to operate a
digital camera either in the field or through an
interface with your IRIX workstation. And, for
subsequent image editing, Pixel!CAM
integrates smoothly with all of the applications
in the Pixel!FX Deluxe suite, giving you a
complete image acquisition and processing
solution.
